Driver's Medical Incident, Disoriented Woman, Top Mt. Kisco Police Blotter

Police intervention was required in Mount Kisco when a man needed to be hospitalized while dealing with debilitating headaches.

Officers from the Westchester County Police Department were dispatched to Beverly Road on Thursday, Sept. 27, where there was a report of a man who had passed out behind the wheel of a car.

The man was woken up by the officers, and proceeded to state that he was “suffering from a severe headache that had made it impossible for him to continue driving.” he was subsequently transported to Westchester Medical Center for treatment on the headaches.

Other items on the Mount Kisco Police blotter from Monday, Sept. 24 through Friday, Sept. 28 include:

  • Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Sept. 27, Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to Barker Street, where there was a report of a disoriented woman walking in the middle of the road in her bathrobe. Nearby neighbors were able to detain the woman until police arrived. The woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital Center for evaluation.
  • Westchester County Police responded to an East Main Street bank on Tuesday, Sept. 25, when employees reported an irate customer who was causing a disturbance. The customer was able to conclude his business at the branch and left the building before officers arrived.
  • Police received a report that a man was asleep in an alley off of East Main Street on Monday, Sept. 24. Officers reported that the man was not ill or in need of medical assistance, and voluntarily left without any incident.
  • An investigation was launched on Monday, Sept. 24, where there was a report of a parked car that had been damaged by a hit-and-run driver. A witness was able to catch the car’s license plate number that fled the scene, which has been provided to investigators. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
